Welcome to the Nova Scotia A-Frame! This striking cottage is located in Aylesford Lake, Annapolis Valley. Over 3 years, the a-frame has been developed with immense passion and a keen eye for detail. Exuding relaxing vibes, the organic neutral tones inside allow you to fully absorb the natural surroundings. Enjoy a morning soak in the cedar hot tub followed by yoga on the top deck. Fine dining at a nearby vineyard, then a glass of wine by the wood stove. You've just found your next getaway!

Please be aware that this home is located in a rural cottage community. Snow removal is minimal and it is recommended you have both winter tires and all-wheel drive. In the event of severe snow, we may cancel your booking.

Most guests are left astonished when they first start to see the peak of the Nova Scotia A-Frame as they approach through the densely wooded subdivision! The towering black structure is modern yet organic, combining a striking black exterior with natural tones of cedar. Up a few large stone steps you go, to the main entrance!

Enter the home on the first of two levels to a small entryway with a coat closet. On your right is the stylish bathroom with a standup shower. On your left is the first bedroom, outfitted with a double/full bed.

Continue through the home to find an open-concept living/kitchen/dining room, but good luck looking past the wall of windows. A towering triangular wall with custom-made windows gives you a stunning view of the forest as you live and vacation in the Nova Scotia A-Frame. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need to make a basic meal, with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and on-site washer/dryer. The dining space comfortably seats four.

The living area is highlighted not only by floor-to-ceiling windows and spectacular craftsmanship but also by a cozy wood stove with wood and paper provided.

As mentioned above, the level of detail and quality of craftsmanship throughout the home is noted immediately as you arrive and continues as you explore through each room!

Head upstairs to the second bedroom, a loft space with a queen bed. Please note that the loft bedroom is open to the main living area. There is also a small office with natural light ideal for working from home!

Guests have private access to the entire home. Although the home is nearby to a lake, guests do not have access to the lake. Guests do not have access to the garage or storage shed on site.

The Nova Scotia A-Frame is located in Waterville. We are 20 mins to Kentville, 30 mins to Wolfville, 1 hr 22 mins to the Halifax Airport and Downtown Halifax. The Annapolis Valley is famous for a never-ending to-do list of activities from winery tours and fine dining to skiing, river tubing, and hiking!
